Maksiwa was Founded in 1983 in the city of Colombo in Parana, Brazil where we started producing woodworking machinery for small cabinet shops. In 1996 Maksiwa started to diversify its production by also manufacturing packaging machinery. In 2013 we partnered with Ryobi and became their exclusive brand representative in Brazil.

Even with our extensive experience with woodworking products, Maksiwa continues to look to innovation and new technology to improve our products, finding optimum solutions. While maintaining our dominance in the Latin American market, in 2015 Maksiwa decided to enter the U.S. Market to expand our successful history.

The Manual Edgebander, CBC FLEX, is perfect for bonding edge tapes to curved pieces. This Edgebander performs bonding on concave and convex curved pieces. It works with tapes from 0.3 mm (1/64”) to 1 mm (5/16”). This equipment is portable and weighs only 21,1 pounds, avoiding the fatigue of the operator and allowing long periods of work. The recommended glue is low temperature Hot-melt. It has a digital panel and adjustable feeder speed which allows the operator to choose the best speed for the accomplishment of its works.
