crimes were never solved.
The WML is hosting a program on Wednes-
day, September 25 at 7:00 p.m., at which the

Discuss 11/22/63
by Stephen King Jake Epping is a high school English
teacher living in 2011 Maine, when a
friend enlists him to go back in time and
prevent the 11/22/63 assassination of
John F. Kennedy. And so begins Jake's
tale - one of time travel, romance, terror, and mys-
tery. Was Lee Harvey Oswald a lone gunman that
day? Will Jake abandon his mission for the heart of the
beautiful school librarian? But the biggest question of
all - what happens to the world if JFK survived Oswald's
assassination attempt on 11/22/63?

Linden Murders: Solved! ** Wednesday, September 25
7:00 - 8:00 p.m. by Rob Thompson
In this book, published in 2013, Thomp-
son reopens an 80 year old cold case in
Genesee County, New York. In 1917,
1922, 1924 and 1934 six people were
murdered. The horrific crimes
were never solved. Rob Thompson, re-
opened the case files and using modern
profiling techniques has come closer to solving the mur-
ders than anyone ever has. At the program, Thompson
will discuss the basic history of the Linden murders and
his belief that six murders between 1917 and 1934 are the
responsibility of one individual. By connecting the signa-
tures of these homicides he arrived at a common motive
with the end result pointing in one direction.
He was aided by a former FBI BAU Specialist.
He will share copies of actual statements and have some
images from the crime scene. Book signing to follow
program. Books are $20 each.

Discuss Olive Ketteridge
by Elizabeth Strout A Pulitzer Prize winner, Olive Kitteridge
is the story of one larger-than-life
woman, Olive Kitteridge. Strout weaves
together thirteen rich, luminous narra-
tives told by family, friends, enemies and acquaintances
of Olive, painting a conflicting picture of Olive - likeable
yet unlikeable, plain-spoken but moody, and hopeful de-
spite encroaching despair.
