President’s Message
Spring has sprung and we are finalizing plans to go to Laughlin on April 23. We board the bus at Marina Community Center at 8:A.M. and you will receive a parking pass for your car and luggage tags. Please bring $5.00 to tip the bus driver and a couple of dollars to play Bingo. There will be water, lots of snacks and a movie or two to watch. We stop for a meal in Barstow and arrive at the Edge-water about 2:30 P.M. We return at 5:00P.M. on Wed. April 25.
Looking forward to May, we could use two more tables for the Tea. If you have sold as many tickets as possible, return the unsold ones to Judy so she can sell to more non-members.
See you at the meeting on April 18 with your take-home container and mug.
Let’s change our seating and converse with other members. Make new friends and welcome the new members.

And don’t forget about basket making. Make one at home (See directions on page 4) and take to Karen Russell’s house to be wrapped. Or, join us May 12th from 2-5 p.m. to help put the bas-kets together, then tie on Judy O’Neill’s beautiful bows. For new members, it’s a great way to get to know more of our members.
Get Ready, Get Set—It’s Tea Planning time! Barbara wright has been busy signing members up for our biggest fund raiser of the year. If you haven’t signed up yet for your favorite jobs, make sure you talk to Barbara. She’ll be going over all our tea needs and how you do your part.
We need a few more table to be hosted. Pick a partner and work together. It’s a lot of fun. There're delicious sandwich-es and yummy scones to make.

Our thoughts are with Susan Ramage and her family for the death of her father-in-law. A sym-pathy card was sent. A thinking of you card was sent to Dixie Red-fearn with hopes that we’ll see her at a meeting soon. Barbara Wright is home now. We’re all wishing her the best. Rest up!
