To hear Hindi news we have used google text to speech. You will have to update your Google text to speech so as to get Hindi voice data. You can click on the link below to update it.

You can install the voice data of hindi by clicking on “Install data”. Choose google tts. You have to install Hindi(India) to listen Hindi news.

This is the front page of our app. You can choose Your newspaper to which you want to listen.

I picked Hindustan . It will display the news from its site. You have to select an article to listen it.

I clicked on the first article. To listen to this article click on the speaker button above. You can click it again to stop.

If you have not downloaded the voice data, You can do so by clicking on the settings button above.

You can also change the speech rate according to your convenience.

You get this after clicking on settings button. You can click to Google tts and choose your Language as Hindi(India) and click on install voice data to install the hindi voice data.

Speech rate can be set by clicking on above setting button on the app which opens Text-to-speech settings. You can click on speech rate and choose according to your comfort.

Improvements•We need to know how much listener has listened so we can continue from there next time he plays it.•We have to add news for local languages and add more newspapers.•We have to install the voice data with this application itself so hat the user doesn’t has to do extra efforts.
