TITLE : CONDUIT WIRING

CIRCUIT WIRING FOR LAMP – INTERMEDIATE SWITCH

OUTCOMES :

CLO 3, LD2, LD8

By the end of the practical class, student should be able to :

1. Demonstrate with confidence PVC conduit wiring type installations which

follow the ST Regulations.

2. Identify by experiment the operation of two way and intermediate switch

control two lamp.

3. Handle inspection and wiring test with confidence which follow the ST

Regulations.

SAFETY PRECAUTION:

dangerous.

2. Understand the safety procedures specified by the lecturer.

3. Handle the practical carefully and place them in a position where

it cannot drop and hurt anyone.

4. Do the practical in an organize manner as this can minimize the

risk of accident occur.

5. Read the practical procedures thoroughly and ask your lecturer if

you have any problems.

PROCEDURE :

1. Find the substance required as list above.

2. According to schematic diagram below, sketch the wiring diagram

before starting the practical work.

3. Do your practical work with lecturer observation.

4. Plan your work invariable time given.

5. Make sure the wiring was neat and safety.

6. Get the permission from your lecturer before starting your work.

7. Test the wiring with your lecturer to avoid any mistake and

damage.

Refer to the schematic diagram below, draw the complete wiring diagram.

a. S1, S2, S3 and S4 are 2 way switch

b. S4 is an intermediate switch.

c. S1 and S2 controlled L1

e. All measurement of the cable for lamp and switches are fixed, 40 cm.
