Why a Cord & Wire Cut-Out Tool?The auto glass in today's modern vehicles have tighter tolerances between the glass and the body. It is becoming quite impossible on some vehicles to avoid damage to the pinchweld when removing the glass. Many technicians have started using cut-out wire or cord in an effort to save the pinchweld from possible damage. This will save valuable time in priming and will prevent rust from forming on missed areas of damage.
Also, cord /wire removal tools reduce physical strain on technician's body compared to other removal tools.
