Mining Operations Intelligence
Mining industry as a whole is highly volatile and prone to be affected by many
factors. The key challenges currently facing the industry are variable mine
output due to equipment breakdowns, lost production, inefficient asset
utilization. As part of a comprehensive solution to address the industry
challenges, Oracle and Wipro came together to co-develop a solution based
on the Oracle suite of products. The solution – Mining Operations Center,
encompasses the following key components:
• Mining Operations Center Platform
• Excel Templates to populate the data from non Oracle Enterprise
Resource Plannings
• Pre-built Oracle Warehouse Builder(OWB) scripts to upload the data
• Data Model to capture the key data elements
• Prebuilt reports and dashboards

use cases like “Equipment Failure Prediction”
The solution delivers Production efficiency improvement by nearly 25% and

The objective of the co-development project is to produce critical
