Iowa Looking for Enology Extension Field Specialist / Winemaker The Midwest Grape and Wine Industry Institute at Iowa State University is seeking an Enology Field Specialist/Winemaker to assist in meeting the exciting challenges and opportunities arising in our northern grapes region. This position will perform extension and outreach activities; teach and demonstrate best wine making techniques to local wine industry members, produce wine in support of research projects, respond to inquiries of industry members, design and create curricula for short courses and certificate programs, contribute to grant research/proposals, and communicate the latest production methods and research findings to industry members. The overall goal is to maximize the quality, growth, and sustainability of the Iowa wine industry.
