Warm up before your training sessi-on: repeat every exercise 10 – 20x.
Then start walking like normal using poles easily, increase intensity.
Aufwärmen Riscaldamento Warming up
In particolare:
infilare la mano nel lacciolo da sotto;
il lacciolo non deve essere regola-to troppo largo;
Choose your pole length according to your height: when held by the grip with the tip on the ground your elbow should be maximum 90 de-grees angle (length of pole = height x 0, 66).
enter wrist strap from below
make sure that strap gives suffici-ent support
pole has to stay in the hand without holding tight to the grip
il corpo è leggermente flesso in avanti, la schiena è dritta;
l’asse delle spalle ruota in modo inverso all’asse del bacino;
durante la fase di spinta il brac-cio supera il bacino e la mano si apre;
i bastoncini sono sempre in posi-zione diagonale;
le braccia oscillano vicino al cor-po;
i gomiti sono leggermente pie-gati, il bastoncino viene puntato quando la mano ritorna sopra il proprio baricentro;
mentre si punta il bastoncino la mano davanti è chiusa;
The correct Nordic walking tech-nique is easy to learn but you should pay attention to the points illustra-ted.
lean your upper body slightly for-ward; torso upright
the torso and hips should be in-volved in a counter-swing motion from the lower body
arm swings along the pelvis as it pushes back the pole – hand opens as the pole is pushed be-hind the body
poles always angled to the rear
arms swing relaxed from the shoulder joint parallel to the body
elbows are slightly bent, pole push starts just behind the line with the pelvis
hands grip the pole every time it hits the ground
Technik Tecnica Technique
Every step should begin with the heel touching the ground and rolling forward to the ball and toe area, where you push off forward.

un programma di riscaldamento mirato prima di iniziare;
tenere un’andatura adeguata alle proprie capacità;
Nordic walking does not only incre-ase your cardiovascular activity, it also trains your upper body, arms and legs and contributes actively to your health. The use of the poles in Nordic walking increases the calorie consumption by an average of 25% compared to classical walking.
To enjoy Nordic walking you should:
start with a specific warm-up
walk at the right speed – accor-ding to your individual heart rate and
strengthen/stretch your muscles after exercising
