WelcomeA warm welcome is extended to our visitors and church family. We are thankful that you have joined us for worship today. May God richly bless you, as we worship together.

Please join us for refreshments in the fellowship hall after the service.

This Sunday Pastor Gregg will begin a 6 part sermon series entitled Body and Soul: Reclaim-ing the Heidelberg Catechism.

Today we are privileged to celebrate the Lord's Supper. All professing members of our congre-gation and guests in good standing, after self-examination, are invited to participate in this meal.

After the morning service everyone is welcome to stay for our annual fall BBQ/potluck lunch. Have a blessed day!

From Pastor GreggAs fall is getting closer and closer and things be-gin to settle down from the busyness of the sum-mer I look forward to getting to know as many as I can in the congregation. As such I will be in the offi ce on Tuesday afternoons this fall from 1:00pm till 4:00pm if you would like to drop in for a visit. Alternatively, you can also give me a call, text or email @ 613-438-4774 or [email protected] to arrange a time to meet for coffee or a visit. Thank you

For more than a century, these two agencies have been introducing people to Christ in North America and around the world. That means continuing partnerships with churches in the United States and Canada to plant churches, do campus ministry, train and equip pastors, and develop future leaders. Additionally, it means sending missionaries overseas, proclaiming the Gospel, and forging lasting partnerships.

NEW SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY SERIES - WILD PLACES: Lessons from the Holy LandStarting September 15, 6:00-7:00pm, we'll be exploring the Holy Land using a DVD series by pas-tor and teacher George DeJong as he leads you to a deeper understanding and love of the Bible, through his teachings in Egypt, Jordan, and Israel. Presenting new scriptural insights, George will give you "eyes to see and ears to hear" as he presents God's love for you and His desire for your life. Pastor Gregg, having just been to the Holy Land himself, will lead this series and include some of his personal experiences as well. All ages are welcome, refreshments are provided.

September Song of the Month675 By Grace You Have Been Saved is our new song for September as it's a song that fits well with the sermon series on the Heidelberg Catechism. Each verse is directly from Scripture and the tune is "Oh How I love Jesus."

September Verse of the MonthWe'll be learning the first Q&A of the Catechism since it naturally coincides with the sermon series.Q. What is your only comfort in life and in death?A. That I am not my own, but belong—body and soul, in life and in death—to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven; in fact, all things must work together for my salvation.Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life and makes me whole-heartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him.

Tot's and Tea Group: We are a gathering of Moms with little ones who get together to learn more about God and His love, and how He desires for us to be as women, wives, mothers, daughters, friends. Our first gathering of this new fall season will be on Wednesday, September 11th. If you are interested in joining the group, and would like

to be added to the email list, please let Kristin Groeneveld know. Also, we are in need of a couple babysitters: 1 babysitter for one Wednesday morning each month and 1 babysitter for one Thursday morning every other month.
