WILLIAMS SECOND SATURDAY ARTWALK Sponsored by Williams Alliance for the Arts 928 351-7665 We believe the arts enhance and enrich all aspects of life. Our mission is to support and encourage all arts in our community, emphasizing arts for youth and supporting arts education. WAFTA programs include the annual 8 th Grade Identity through Photography Project culminating in April and Free Art Workshops for Youth and Adults all year long. We sponsor Youth Art Month in March and The Senior Show in November. Williams Alliance for the Arts purchases musical instruments, sheet music, and equipment to support the WUSD Music Program, and we bring live theater to Williams Elementary Middle School from Childsplay, Inc in Mesa, AZ. We organize and sponsor Williams Second Saturday ArtWalk every year, May through October. Williams Alliance for the Arts is a non-profit corporation registered with the State of Arizona. MONUMENT PARK Route 66 & S. 9 th Street at the west end of town Monument Park at the west end of Route 66 is a pocket park with picnic tables and trees that offers world class sculpture. Williams Own Veterans Memorial features work by renowned bronze sculptor Neil Logan to honor our fallen military veterans. In addition, famous mountain man , William Sherley Williams (Old Bill) is memorialized with a fine bronze sculpture by Williams artist B. R. Pettit. 1 Land Office 341 W.
