Is Cardio Enough to Get Rapid Fat Loss Results?
Hi there. Nolan Fisher’s here from BodSquadTraining.com, the rapid fat loss and
body toning experts in Castle Hill. I just wanted to debug a myth that a lot of
people ask me and ask the BodSquad trainers out there: Is just doing cardio on its
own going to get me my rapid fat loss results? And the answer is no. See, if you
do just cardio on its own, all it’s going to do is really stress the body out and a lot
of people think that just going for a one-hour jog is going to be the best for your
rapid fat loss results. In fact, it’s not.
What Is the Right Formula for Successful Weight Loss?
What you need to do is you need to combine cardio, high intensity cardio, and you
need to combine some weight work, some strength work together to get the best
possible rapid fat loss results for you. It’s exactly what we do here at BodSquad
Training. We combine some strength work, sometimes at the beginning of
sessions and sometimes we just do some high intensity cardio sessions.
Sometimes we combine both. We combine the weights and cardio into a high
intensity metabolic work training or sometimes we just do some high intensity
interval training, which is optimal for fat burning.
What is Cortisol and How to Avoid It
You see, if you do too much of the long slow cardio like a one-hour run, it stresses
your body out. It produces this hormone called cortisol and when cortisol is
present in your body, there’s no fat burning process that can happen at all. So,
what you need to do is be very strategic in what you do and how you implement
the high intensity cardio and your strength training for the best possible rapid fat
loss results.
