What is the iWatchHowardCounty app? iWatchHowardCounty is an app you can download to your iPhone, Android, Blackberry or computer to give tips about crimes. It’s anonymous & it’s free! Why should I give tips about these behaviors and activities? You are the eyes and ears of your community. Your awareness of suspicious behaviors and criminal activities and giving information to the police can help solve or prevent crimes. YOUR TIPS MATTER. How can I use the iWatchHowardCounty app? With the iWatch app, you can send tips from anywhere – your cell phone, tablet or PC. You can even include photos and videos, or send a text message. What kind of tips should I give? You can give tips on any type of crime or suspicious activity through the iWatch app. It does not replace 911 for emergencies, but is used like a tip line where you can give police information anonymously. Get news and information. With the iWatch app, you can receive Howard County police news and information in real time as it is posted on social media sites. Take a survey. The police department wants to hear what you think! Through the iWatch app, you can take a survey to tell us what we are doing well, and what we could do better. Emergencies: Dial 911; Non-emergencies: 410-313-2200; Anonymous Tip Line: 410-313-STOP
