Content Shock*
*Term coined by Mark Schaefer
Content Shock
How do you generate momentum?
• Digital marketing tactics – Social Media – Video optimization – Platforms – All covered in Brittany’s excellent talk …
– But you’re still at risk of being trapped in Content Shock …
A little secret.
• The little talked-about secrets of MCN’s: the top 5-10% of talent get all the attention.
• You can employ all the tools at your disposal to gain audience, but that still often won’t get your foot through the door. And if it does …
• Well, unless you’re in that top tier … crickets.
The Power of Relationships
• Who can help me? • And what can I do for them in return?
The “yes” usually comes from someone you know.
