Children learn about:› Healthy food and nutrition.› Participate in regular activity.› Share ideas, emotions and concerns about a

range of different topics which relieves stress and anxiety.

› Healthy living is taught and is carried on throughout adult life.

Children through PE are able to:› Participate in regular exercise with a range

of games and activities.› Through games children learn about their

bodies.› Children are able to develop new skills and

build on old ones.› Promotes an active lifestyle which releases

stress and makes them feel better.› Essential for Growth and Development.

Children learn:› How to communicate with their peers.› Share feelings and emotions.› Build relationships and understanding and

knowing the importance of them.› Resolving problems.› Learning to care about relationships and

maintaining them.

I think that it is crucial for PDHPE to be taught in schools as it allows children to have an overall balanced wellbeing while also encouraging learning and engagement through interaction and activities.
