Why do we fight?

So I was thinking about this all yesterday, like I had a mindfucked evening on this topic and it was killing me so I needed to express my opinion.

People fight over the most tedious things, from asian cultures: who is going to pay for the bill or in western cultures, who is going to get the best girl -at least that is what I have gathered from western media.

And so, the other day I stumbled across KevJumba's youtube channel and the video called "Totem Poles are stupid". I watched the video, which basically had the message that Asian guys were not the bottom of the totem pole and i think that is true. In fact, I don't even believe that totem poles exists in terms of what culture is superior to another.

And then I started reading the comments below. There was this one major troll called Gringokiller11 who started claiming that Asian people were ugly and weird looking. It is fine that he has an opinion, but there is no need to make such claims on a youtube video.

I think that this GringoKiller11 must feel really insignificant, by drawing attention to himself he feels like he has some sort of power or control over things. And that's intricately connected to why we start fights, to show superiority and to claim significance.

But to be honest, in the end, none of this matters, we are probably going to look like this one day anyway and things won't matter anymore.

A few years ago, I thought the tamagotchi meant the world to me and we only had one in our family so my sister and I fought over it all the time and now it seemed so pointless since it doesn't affect our lives anymore.

Most things won't mean anything in the future so don't let it affect your happiness.
