About us The people working for African Caribbean Care Group are the core of our service. We recruit only those who can deliver our quality service.
Recruitment Each member of our care team is personally
interviewed. We request references. We carry out checks with Disclosure Barring
Services (DBS) We check candidates have not been referred
to the list for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults.
Training Our care team attend comprehensive and ongoing
training, such as manual handling and induction All staff have either achieved or are working towards
QCF Care qualifications
Assessment and Management Each team member has regular review and
supervision meetings to maintain quality of service.
The African Caribbean Care Group is an established provider delivering Day Care and Home Care services to adults.
As an organisation, we are governed by Care Quality Commission (CQC).
We work with service users, their families and friends, local authorities, social services and case managers to provide customised home care packages and Day Care services.
Our aim is to support people to improve their well-being, promote independence, dignity, and improve their quality of life through a Person Centred Care approach, enabling them to maintain independence while living filling lives
Our care services are provided by trained and experienced staff.

Home Care We provide home care for adult service users. Our Home Care packages involve a degree of:
Personal care: help with getting in and out of bed, dressing bathing toileting medication prompts. Personal alarms
Domestic duties: cooking light housework laundry Night Care shopping We also deliver tailored dementia care in the
home. Day Care
Personal care Supported bathing Luncheon club (hot meals) Meals on wheels Carer support A range of activities Fitness programme Information and advise Health screening
