providers of site servicing, pipework, coded welding and metrology services.

For over 125 years we have been developing the skills and experience to provide

customers are commonly within the food and pharmaceutical industries but our

We can supply process design fabrication and installation of process pipework systems supported by a qualified team. Typical projects would be pharmaceutical and confectionery processes incorporating CIP, process routing pipework, steam, glycol.

We have benefited greatly over the years from a high level of investment in new facilities, which include: Well organised premises with 17,500sq. ft of space, sufficient for larger fabrications. Overhead craneage up to 5 tonne capacity Radan CAD/CAM Autocad Amada Apelio combined laser cutter/punch 4 metre Promecam 8 axis press brake (220 tonne capacity) Plasma cutter with 4m x 2m bed capable of cutting 12mm stainless 80 tonne capacity Promecam press brake Octo 8 station Amada punch press Mechanical sheet handling Extensive MIG and TIG facilities Dedicated stainless steel polishing facilities (both mirror and brush finish) State of the art polishing machinery Extensive stocks of pre-polished sheet, 304 and 316 quality-satin and mirror polish



Coded Pipework

We supply prefabricated pipework in carbon and stainless steel, duplex, hastelloy and cunifer. Typical applications would be pipe spools, jacketed pipework or screwed pipework.

Hygienic Pipework

Fabricated in thin wall stainless steel tube with varying degrees of surface and internal finishes using orbital or manual tungsten inert gas techniques. Typical applications would be processed pipework systems incorporating purified water, WFI, SCIP, high purity steam.

Commonly found in the Dairies, Breweries, Soft Drinks, Food, Pharmaceutical, Confectionery and Chemical Industries.

Utility Pipework

For a wide variety of applications in carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, ABS, UPVC, PTFE or copper.

Mechanical Pipework

Fabrication and installation of all utility pipework (coded welders). Typical Applications being pipework systems for all industries, tubular structures, hand rails, factory services pipework including water, steam, condensate, glycol and chilled water.

Orbital Welding

Our orbital welding facilities can deliver very high quality welds. Orbital welding can be the only means to reach weld quality requirements for the pharmaceutical and petro-chemical industries. The use of portable orbital welding machines can also be very useful where access space is limited.Our facilities include Polysoude portable orbital welding for pipes from 1 to 4 inch diameter, and Arc orbital welding machines.

Quality Control

We offer a variety of quality documentation i.e. full weld traceability, welder certification, material certification, PH testing, non destructive metrology testing, pressure testing and as built drawings. See Quality Assurance and Metrology for more information on quality documentation standard

Metrology

We can provide full metrology services for in house fabrication as well as on site service.

On site we can perform positive material identication PMI for validation and re-validation of

existing plant before or after FDA inspection. This will be supported by a full report pack to

document our results.

For in house fabrication we can provide full traceability, certificates of conformance and quality

documentation to your requirements.

We can provide:

Full surface finish inspection (Ra readings) mapping reports

Ph neutral testing

Dye penetrant testing

Ultra violet NDT testing

Certificate of Conformance with full mill traceability EN 10204. 3.1

PMI Positive Material Identification for stainless steel, low alloy steel, CR-steel, HSS tool steel

and nickel base steel.

Operating procedures are in place to meet the stringent requirements of the pharmaceutical

industry and are available on request.
