AVSEC GLOBAL

At Avsec Global, as the name implies, our core business is in aviation

security. However, we also specialise in fields beyond the perimeter of

airports. Our years of experience in the Aviation Security field have

given us an acute insight into the needs of business in general, in

terms of infrastructure protection, risk and crisis management and

contingency planning.

Businesses need to protect their assets, their people, property and not least their information systems. Avsec can help because we can provide consultancy and/or training in each of the following:

Critical Infrastructure

The security of Critical Infrastructure is paramount to the protection of all states and corporations that attract hostile attention. We provide bespoke consultation and courses of instruction in the techniques of defending your vulnerable installations.

Crisis Management

A realistic, reliable and robust crisis management strategy is essential to many organisations. Tied-in with the skills detailed above, we enable these organisations to minimise the effect of any crisis on their capacity and capability.

Security (SeMS) and Safety Management Systems (SMS)

The SeMS and SMS philosophies are top-to-bottom cultures which lead to and enhance the efficiency and security in the daily operations of a business or entity. We offer tailor-made delivery of these systems.

Instructional Techniques Course

This is a five-day course held either at our training location or at the area of choice for our client. It covers a wide-ranging variety of theoretical ideas and practical exercises in the delivery of training techniques and in understanding the needs of students.

Is There Anything Else?

The list above is not exhaustive and we are more than happy to discuss many other issues with a client. Throughout all consultation and training, our policy is that we create solutions centred on client needs, whatever they may be. Then, of course, we have the Aviation Security specialities.

Never has the need for effective Aviation Security been greater – and never has the need for effective staff training been such a priority.

UK-based Avsec has been providing security and training services for the civil aviation industry since 1992. Our vast experience includes working with regulators, airlines and airports in many countries. The services we provide cover consultancy, design, management, training and operational activities.

All Avsec specialists are experts in their field. It’s a pre-requisite of their roles to be up-to-date with the latest regulations, technology and procedures to ensure that clients receive the best possible solutions to the business and operational challenges they face.

The Avsec Approach

The company’s approach to aviation security is straightforward. We listen

to our clients’ problems. We assess the issues raised and devise a solution

that is compliant, effective and efficient. In short, we believe that security

must make sense.

We pride ourselves on providing robust solutions that have sufficient

adaptability to ensure long-term validity and provide consistency across

other areas of your operations. This applies whether it’s a one-off training

course or a large-scale project.

Effective Use of Resources

Aviation security is not immune from the constraints of scarce resources –

and the need to prioritise their allocation. To maintain a robust and effective

security system, therefore, the resources should be of a high quality and

deployed according to risk.

Although technology is developing in the security field, it does not in itself

provide the complete answer. Properly trained staff and efficient procedures

on the other hand are the bedrock of any security system.

The experience gained by Avsec enables us to work with you to provide

effective solutions that are complementary to your organisation.

From new build design, assessments, critical infrastructure protection,

procedures and training – we consider threats, local considerations,

compliance and practicality as essential aspects of your security systems

that will support your core operations.

Avsec Project Experience

A critical starting point with all Avsec projects is to ensure you can trust

in the integrity, backgrounds and skill-sets of our entire operational team.

To achieve this, every individual undergoes rigorous background checks.

We also make sure that specialist staff are up-to-date in all aspects of

their area of expertise.
