End 2004 : Launch of the national call for competitiviness clusters
2005 : a common answer with a common strategy between two big maritime regions PACA and Brittany
July 2005 : labellised by the French Government « Pôle de compétitivité à vocation mondiale » for the Breton Cluster and the PACA cluster
2009, June 24th : signature by the Prefect of the Region rittany,, the President of the Regional Council Brittany and the President of Pôle Mer Bretagne, of the contrat de performance => territorial extension to the regions Basse-Normandie (Caen) and Pays de la Loire (Nantes-St Nazaire)
Duration : 3 years (until 31/12/2011) => one year more (until 31/12/2012)
