The Canadian wilderness, with all its wildlife and natural beauty, is a key attraction

to ATV users. ATVOntario is a non-profit organization that promotes safe,

environmentally friendly ATV riding experiences. ATV enthusiasts know that riding

is not just something they do, it’s a way of life and it is our goal to create an ATV

culture that has fun while respecting the land and the preservation of natural trail

environments.

ATVOntario.com is a one-stop destination for information on “WHERE TO RIDE IN

ONTARIO.” Packed with relevant, up-to-date information, ATVOntario.com has a

full listing of trails, events, tours, lodges, outfitters and communities that embrace

the ATV culture. Our website provides ATV enthusiasts with a wide range of

resources and information to help them plan their next ATV adventure

experience.

The trails, events and tours featured on ATVOntario.com are submitted via an

application process and must meet legal, safety, and management standards. This

dedication to quality and standards help maintain a positive image for the ATV

industry in Ontario and supports its growth. It also ensures that our visitors

know that the featured trails, events and tours meet the highest standards. Any

registered business and/or organization offering ATV experiences can apply to

become a marketing partner in ATVOntario.

Our 2005/06 marketing campaign includes over $100,000 worth of promotional

materials (165,000 rack cards, POPs, lure maps, billboard, advertising, media, trade

show attendance, etc.) driving the consumer to our website, which serves as our

main source of information.

This unique tourism marketing alliance is a resource that few individual businesses

or organizations could develop on their own and ensures increased exposure and

sales for our partners and the products and services they provide.

ATVOntario Product Categories& Quality StandardsWhere do your ATV products fit?

A Signature ATV Trail Destination is an ATV-friendly community/region that is supported by its municipalities, businesses and trail management organization. The destination includes a minimum of 125 kms of high quality, managed trail system that operates for a minimum of 3 months/year and is connected to its tourism suppliers, attractions, etc.

A Signature Event is a large event that is designed to be of regional or provincial significance.

A Signature Guided Tour is a “once-in-a-lifetime” experience that is a key tourism product and attracts visitors to a destination. This tour is promoted in connection with the destination.

ATV Trails and Experiences – Self-guided ATV experiences that are offered on a high quality legal trail system that is maintained, mapped, signed, insured and managed. Packaged tourism experiences are encouraged. Guided ATV experiences can be on unmanaged trail systems as long as safety and legal requirements are addressed.

Events and Safety Courses – small to medium size events and safety courses.

Guided Tours – quality guided ATV tours.

NOTE: All products and services offered must have insurance coverage, be in compliance with all Provincial and Federal laws and must be able to provide proof of land owner’s consent, upon request. Tour operators must have First Aid and safety training.
