How can I be a responsible dog owner?• Keep your dog on leash at all times except

in designated areas• Clean up after your dog• Licence your dog

What are the benefits of dog licensing? • Your dog will be returned more quickly if it

gets lost• Provides the City useful information on

dog ownership which allows us to better support animal related programs and facilities at the City and the non-profit BCSPCA

• Saves dog owners money. Unlicenced dogs are subject to fines

Where can I purchase a dog licence?Licences can be purchased online, by phone or in person at Richmond City Hall. For more information visit www.richmond.ca/safety/animals/dogs.htm, call 604-276-4345 or e-mail [email protected].

How can I help?Adopt a dog bag dispenser Dog bag dispensers encourage responsible dog ownership and help keep our trails and parks clean. If you are interested in volunteering to help restock a dog bag dispenser in your area, contact the Parks Division at 604-244-1208 or email [email protected].
