Our very own Mr Lambert is volunteering at the event and will be working in the Harrogate Hospitality Hub for 6 of the 9 days of competition.

We hope you all have the chance to join in the fun and watch at least some of the racing.

First she became double British Champion at the British Swimming Champs where she won both 50m and 100m breaststroke in the Women's 13/14 age category and then English National Champion in both 200m and 400m freestyle for her age category.

Congratulations to George Hammond, Y11 who won the Bradford Junior Cricket League U15 batting award and also to Harry Pinkney, Y10 who won the bowling trophy for U15s, despite being a year young. Harry bowled 22 overs and took 17 wickets with an average of 3.8.

During the summer, Kira Grahamslaw, Y8 won the Wenlock Olympian Games in Shropshire with her team Harrogate Fencing Club. At one point, Kira needed to score 8 points on the trot and she stepped up to the mark putting the team ahead and in a strong position to reach the final, which they won.
