● Alexandria’s Giving Day - one day when our community comes together to

support nonprofits!

● 24-Hour online giving event on April 25 through a single giving platform hosted

Yes! Spring2ACTion is on a new platform this year (GiveGab), so you will need to search and register your organization

● What is the minimum/maximum donation?

○ $5 minimum, no maximum

● Can donors cover the fees?

○ Yes! Each donor is given the option to cover the credit

card, platform, and Spring2ACTion fees.

● Who receives the donor information?

○ Each individual organization receives their own donor

information. The Spring2ACTion team and GiveGab

also has access to this information. GiveGab will never

contact your donors without your permission except

donation receipts.

● Can we add offline donations?

○ Yes! You can easily add offline donations right through

your Giving Day Dashboard. NOTE: Offline donations

will NOT be included in leaderboards.

● Can I add sponsor matching to my campaign?

○ Yes! If you have previously acquired a matching gift

opportunity from a sponsor, you can include that on

your profile to encourage and excite donors to make a

gift.

● Can donors search for my organization’s page?

○ Yes! There is a search bar on the main Spring2ACTion

landing page.

● What’s the difference between my GiveGab Profile and

my Spring2ACTion profile?

○ When you signup for Spring2ACTion you have both a

GiveGab profile and a Spring2ACTion profile within it.

Your GiveGab profile is a “static” presence of your

organization that will not be used for Spring2ACTion.

Your Spring2ACTion profile is a snapshot in time of a

story you’d like to tell for this specific fundraising

opportunity. This profile will be shared

● When do early donations begin?

○ April 11

● Do I need to issue a tax receipt to donors?

○ No! Immediately after your donor makes a gift, they will

receive a tax-deductible receipt from your

organization automatically.

● When will I receive my donations from S2A?

○ Within 24-48 hours after the donation is made via

direct deposit to the bank account you provided during

registration.
