What Kind of Media Institution Might Distribute Your Media Product and Why?

From research I have identified that that the magazine “VIBE” is published by spin media. Spin media is a well-recognized company and blog network based in Los Angeles. It owns a community of pop culture websites. The magazine “XXL” was published by Harris publications. Harris Publications is an American consumer-magazine publisher in New York City that publishes over 75 titles, including XXL, King, Dog News, Small Business Opportunities, Exercise & Health, Celebrity Hairstyles, and many more. I believe out of the two companies, Harris publications would be the best company to publish my magazine. The reason being is because not only do they create magazines based on rap, however they also create exercise magazines, and seeing as my content page consists of exercise facts/help, I believe my magazine would work well and would be approved by Harris publications.

I did consider vibe seeing as they are a well-recognized company, nationwide, with a large number of audiences, however from

research I have been able to identify that my magazine fits in better with XXL in terms of genre/target audience/content. Alongside that, XXL magazine are recognized for a number of things such as exercise, music etc therefore they wont have to do special promotion in order for the magazines to be sold successfully, in terms of a large number.
