WHAT ISYAKULT?

Yakult is a fermented milk drink containing 6.5

billion of the LIVE, unique and beneficial

bacteria, the Lactobacillus casei Shirota strain.

Each bottle of Yakult contains a high number of the

beneficial bacteria, only available in Yakult, proven

to arrive alive in the intestines.

The strain of bacteria was named after

Yakult's founder, Dr Minoru Shirota, in

honour of his research in preventative

medicine and microbiology.
