Alexandra Legouix has spent many years working in PR, Marketing and Events

Management.

Her events career took off when she landed the role of Marketing and PR Executive

for Innerplace Concierge and VIP Service. Here she: organized guest lists for all top

exclusive clubs in London, Europe and New York; was the main organiser of many

VIP Events including: Boudoir PR Pre fashion Week, Hollywood TV Parties, La Dolce

Vita Charity Ball (the closing F1 ball), The Cannonball Rally Ball, product launches,

Pink Breast Cancer Charity functions, the Gordon Ramsey dinner, Beyoncé – private

concert - to name but a few; and also arranged sponsorship, celebrity bookings,

and handled all marketing and advertising (GQ, Vanity Fair, Tatler, OK! Xexec,

Square Meal).

At the young age of 24, she set up her own company –

With Panache.

Although ultimately seeing it as a multi-media company

with big, long term event ambitions for the future,

Alexandra began her enterprise with a children’s

theatre school: With Panache Theatre Academy.

This was extremely successful and had a fantastic reputation, however, as the only

person in the company she was (and still is in fact!) in charge of: advertising,

accounts, VAT, Tax, design, distribution, hiring, promotion, sponsorship, and so on

and at such a young age, this was very tough so this –combined with the nature of

the arts industry - meant she did not make enough profit to keep the school open.

So she closed the academy.

However, not one who likes to be defeated, Alexandra set up With Panache

Agency for Children off the back of the school. Within one month, many of her

clients were in films and commercials and were getting small TV parts.

Over the years, the agency has developed and matured and with that came a

change of clients and has now – although open to children – is essentially an adult

performing agency which continues to grow and increasingly has a better and

better name within the industry.

With Panache Agency

Alexandra is insistent that an agency should be devoted to only a small number of

clients. Therefore she is very selective and only picks the best artists who she can

push the most and feels will do the best for the agency.

Tom Ward Thomas – currently filming the new feature film adaptation of GREAT

EXPECTATIONS in which he landed the featured role of ’Finch’ alongside Helena

Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes and Jeremy Irvine. Directed by Mike Newell. Autumn

2012 release.

Bryn Lucas - regular presenter on CHANNEL FIVE and often seen presenting on SKY

TV too; recently completed a stage of MEDEA in which he played the male lead

‘Jason’; recently played lead male in the new feature BELLINGERS AFFAIR (2012

release) and can currently be seen playing ‘Prince Charming’ in CINDERELLA at the

Theatre Royal, Winchester till Jan 2nd 2012

Ione Butler – 7 films this year! She has recently finished playing the lead girl - Maia in

THE ADORED for Discovery Films. Directed by Carl Medland. NOMINATED BEST

Dave Short – recently finished playing the lead role in THE FLANAGAN & ALLEN STORY

for Nostalgia Productions directed by Johnny Barrs. He can currently be seen playing

the Dame in the Rotherham pantomime

CAMBODIA PROJECT-The Flying Seagull Project directed by Ash Perrin

Amy Newton – new addition to the books. Recently played Chloe, lead girl in PAPER

FORTUNES for Rogue Writers. Directed by Cameron Harris

Murray Smith – new addition to the books. Recently finished playing ‘Creon’ in

MEDEA; and currently performing in THE WAY OF KINDNESS playing male lead ‘Mark’

at the Wimbledon Theatre;

PR, Marketing and Events

In 2003, Alex landed the role of Events Organizer for RMA Track days. Due to her skills

learnt at Innerplace VIP Concierge, Alex quickly became involved in the Marketing

and PR side and helped organise track days at various locations in the UK & abroad

(Thruxton, Silverstone, Spa Belgium, Donnington, Oulton Park etc.). She was also in

charge of the coordination and hosting of the events. She briefed drivers before

track opening and generally made sure days ran smoothly.

She was also lucky enough, during the 4 years of working with RMA, to get behind

the wheel as a driver herself of some extremely fast cars (Ferrari, Porsche 911,

Caterham, Elise etc.!). the first circuit she drove on was Spa Francochamps in a

Porsche GT3! By 2006 she gained her National B Motor Racing License at Nurburgring

after training with ‘Ring Taxi’ driver and DMax presenter, Sabine Schmitz.

Her knowledge of the motor industry opened new doors and she won a competition

to be a Formula Una for Redbull F1 Racing. Far from being a ‘glamour’ or ‘pit girl’

position the Una’s are regarded extremely highly in the F1 circle. During this time,

she was involved with various functions for the likes Alpine Stars, Mini Motos and of

course Eddie Jordan. She got to interview the likes of Flavio Briatore and Jenson

Button and generally had a fantastic experience - not to mention some incredible

private parties, including Dhani Harrisons F1 unveil at his late father’s (George

Harrisson) humble abode!

That same year she also worked as freelance PR/Marketing/Events for Landrover;

Mapledurham 4x4 Show; Sternberg Clarke; and Nissan before landing the role of

Celebrity Marketing & Events Co-ordinator at Catalyst World Class providing

celebrity speakers and entertainers for prestigious events across the World.

In 2010, Alexandra worked on many one off events including: Vivacity Olympics

Festival (Organiser/Sales/PR and main presenter), Sandbanks Polo (PR), Cartier Polo

(PR), Prestige Polo (PR), Universe Parties at QSoho (Organiser/Sales/PR/presenter and

performer), and managed club nights for some of the top London VIP/Members

clubs.

With Panache Events organise events and parties with a theatrical twist.

Through this part of her company, Alexandra has organised a number of small and

larger scale events including: A Halloween Boat Party on the Thames; numerous

private parties for different clients including Caversham Heath Golf Club, Aylesbury

Park Golf Club; LA Entertainment to name a few; and she will soon begin organising

ART-Y-ZEN - a regular showcase event for artists and performers and a concert tour

A charity tour for Rosie’s Rainbow Fund

Starting March 2012, With Panache Events have teamed up with Redroofs Theatre

School in support of Rosie’s Rainbow Fund and are putting on an 8 venue theatre

concert tour.

Comedians, actors, singers and celebrities – not to mention a live set with Alexandra

Legouix and the Sunflowers being supported by the incredible sound of the 65

person Rosie’s Rainbow Fund Choir too - are all joining together to put on this

fantastic variety show.

Kick start your acting career - a PR and Marketing course 'With Panache'

INTRODUCTION

Unfortunately in today's marketing-led industry, if you are waiting to be 'discovered' you

may be waiting a very long time. Whether you are a presenter, actor, singer or speciality

act, these days the onus is on YOU to let the world know you are ready, willing and able

to take your place centre stage. After all, if you are not prepared to invest in promoting

your product, your brand – YOU - how are you going to persuade anyone else to follow

suit?

All businesses advertise, publicise and promote. YOU are a ‘business’. If you do not treat

yourself as such, then your act - your business - cannot grow.

Fortunately your initial investment in PR and marketing does not have to involve a huge
