What is the Holy Spirit (Ghost) Bible Study Part 1:

Raw Power unleashed

This study is about the Holy Spirit (Ghost) as described in the Holy Bible. The Holy Spirit

(Ghost) is the spirit of Jesus Christ which He gave to us as a comforter that would teach us all

things after He died for our sins and rose again in three days. It is important as Christians to

know who the Holy Spirit is, where He came from, and what He can do for you.

The Holy Spirit (Ghost) is described as the Kingdom of God  

The kingdom of God as described in Romans chapter 14 is:  

● Righteousness 

●  Peace 

● Joy in the Holy Ghost  

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy 

Ghost Romans 14:17 KJV  

Fruits of the Spirit are the result of having the Holy Ghost in you  

Those who have the Holy Ghost in them reflect the Lord's spirit

The Holy Spirit (Ghost) gives us, as his disciples and followers, a certain definitive demeanor,

described as the fruits of the spirit, in Galatians chapter 5.

The Fruits of the Spirit are: 

●  Love

● Peace 

● Long-suffering  

● Gentleness

● Goodness 

●  Faith

● Meekness 

● Temperance 

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians

5:22 KJV  

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:23 KIV  

Who can receive the Holy Ghost? 

Those who believe and follow Jesus Christ and are saved and can receive the Lord's word with

affliction and the joy of the Holy Ghost.

Thessalonians 1:6 

What happens if we resist (refuse) the power of the Holy Spirit?  

●  Let EVERY soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God:

the powers that be are ordained of God . Romans 13:1 KJV 

●  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that 

resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Romans 13:2 KJV  

The Holy Ghost lives inside of you once your receive Jesus Christ.  

●  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man

thirst, let him come unto me and drink. St. John 7:37  

●  He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shalll flow rivers of 

living water . St. John 7:38  

The Holy Ghost is Jesus Christ's Spirit  

The Holy Ghost is the spirit of Jesus Christ which existed since the beginning of time but was

not given until after He was crucified and raised from the dead to be glorified and is only given

to those who believe on Him. 

●  But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the

Holy Ghost was not yet given because that Jesus was not yet glorified.). St. John 8:39
