Becauseofyoursupport,weareseeingthepersecutedchurchinIranandsurroundingcountriesgrowbothnumericallyandspiritually.Yes,thenewsthatyoudidn’toftenhearamongreportsofthenuclearagreement,sanctions,andterrorismisthattheLordisbusyworkingtotransformIranintoaChristiannation!

BelowisanoverviewofthemanywaysthatGodisusingIranAlivetoaccomplishHismission.OurSaviorischangingtheheartsofMuslims.IpraythatyoucansharethisinformationaboutwhatGodisdoingwithyourfriendsinyourchurch,office,andneighborhoodandinvitethemtogetinvolvedinthisgreatwork.

Whom Are We Serving? AtIranAlive,weusemediafirsttoevangelizeover100millionMuslimsandsecondtoservethe1-3millionChristiansinsideIran.Sowearebothreachingouttothepersecutorsandalsoservingthepersecuted.OftheseChristians,97percenthaveneverbeentoachurchofanykindevenonce.Withoutourhelp,thesebelieverswouldbeisolated,fearful,anduseless—indeedprisonersintheownhomeswithnoChristiansupport.

How Do We Serve Them? Weusemedia(satelliteTV,internetandsocialmedia)tomakeavailablethefullservicesofachurchtoeveryhomedaily.Theseservicesincludeweeklychurchservices,prayermeetings,Bibleclasses,marriageprograms,youthprograms,children’sSundayschoolprograms,andavarietyofotherprogramsbothtapedandlive.

InAmerica,televangelismoftenhasapoorreputation.ThatiswhyitissoimportantformetoexplainthateventhoughwebroadcastonTV,wearenottelevangelists!Theseprogramsaren’tpassiveentertainment.Ourgoalistransformation,andasweprayandserve,weseelivestransformedbyJesus.Oneofourviewerswrotethefollowing:

“Iusedtolaughatpeoplewhosaidthatthedeadwouldraise.TodayIlaughatmyselfbecauseIwasindeeddeadandJesusraisedmefromthedead.”

Wedon’twantaone-wayconnectionwithourviewersthroughTV.Wewanta2-wayrelationshipsothatwecanidentifyandequipleaders.ThatiswhyweuseSocialMediadailytointeractwithourviewersandglobalchurchmembers.Anincreasingnumberofpeopleareusingthesocialmediatocommunicatewithusandwatchourprograms“ondemand”attheirconvenience.Herearesomestats:

a. Currently,thereareover46,000membersonourvarioussocialmediavenuessuchasFacebook,Instagram,andasecureappcalled“Telegram.”

b. In2016alone,over9,630,000videoswerewatchedanddownloadedviaoursocialmediavenues.Oncedownloaded,thesevideosareusuallysharedwithfriendsandfamilies,sothenumberofpeoplereachedisevenmore.

Myfriends,thestatsrepresentnotnumbersbutsteadfastfollowersofChristwhooftenarereadytoliveanddieforJesus.Oncewehelpthemfindtheircallingandequipthem,nothingcanstopthemfromservingsacrificiallyandfearlessly.Hereisatypicaltestimony:

WeencouragethesenewleaderstogatherwiththeirfamilyandfriendstoformUndergroundHouseChurches,participateinourweeklychurchservice,andprovidemutualsupporttoeachother.Manyfamiliesdothat.Therearehomeswhere10–25peoplegathertohavechurchwithus.Theyevensettheirchairslikeachurch(seepicture).

In2016,thenumberofundergroundhousechurchesthatareconnectedtousdoubled.Socurrently,409groupsgatherasachurchunderourdirectionandguidance.Thesegroupsexistinadditiontoanetworkofover400housechurchesthatwehadpreviouslyplantedandthatarecurrentlybeingledbyourspiritualsonsanddaughters.

MembershiptoourGlobalChurchcalled“ChurchSEVEN”alsomorethandoubledin2016.Now,wehave3,908memberswhoarecommittedtothegoalsofourglobalchurch:“Tobetransformedandtobeanagentoftransformation.”

Theanswertotheworld’sdifficultiesisnotpoliticalbutspiritual.IamaskingtheLordtocallyoutoseizethishistoricalopportunityandjoinmetotransformtheMiddleEastforChrist.
