On-site workshops

Your workforce is your most valuable asset. Each one of them is a complex and unique individual with differing levels of emotional needs.

Companies are increasingly adopting psychological education as part of their wellbeing strategies to instil emotional maturity at an individual and collective level.

Through our partnership with The Wellness Movement we run themed monthly workshops within organisations, either as stand alone education packages or to

complement our Mental Health MOTs.

Workshops accommodate 5 - 100 staff.

All sessions are interactive and engaging. Staff participation is always encouraged!

The facilitator briefs the audience on key topic points, gives live demonstrations for practical learning, all tailored to your organisation’s needs and culture.

Our workshop series is designed to equip staff with a range of positive tools to safeguard their mental health, increase their personal wellbeing, emotional awareness and resilience.

Consistency and regularly is important to embed a culture of wellbeing and to proactively attend to mental health of employees and thereby improve the working environment.

Explore the root causes of your anger and build your own toolkit to help you deal with both eruptions of anger, as well as pent up feelings of resentment. Promoting Good Sleep

Recent research points to just how important sleep is in terms of maintaining good physical health, cognitive functioning including memory, and healthy weight. However, getting sufficient sleep is easier said than done. This workshop will highlight the most important sleep-inducing tools and help participants to select evidence-based techniques that they can begin to implement.

Dealing with DepressionIdentify levels of low mood and to unpick the possible causes and equipped with proven techniques used by Cognitive Behavioural Therapists. Try structured exercises to help tackle low days and longer lasting spells, as well as emergency plans for extreme dips in mood levels. Leave better able to manage their own depression with a new awareness of how to recognise the signs of depression, as well as methods of helping others.

Building Self-Esteem

Neuroscience research shows that the thinking patterns of the brain can change. We will demonstrate how core beliefs drive low-self esteem, and how we are able to turn our self-esteem around with determination and application. You will leave this workshop with a practical strategy to implement to improve their own self-esteem and the energy to consider why making changes is worth the effort.

Conflict ResolutionCooperation is a fundamental feature of human society and has allowed it to flourish. Conflict, as well as being unpleasant, can lead to stagnation and wasted resources. This talk uncovers the most important steps to help towards resolving misunderstandings and conflicting viewpoints that arise in and out of the workplace. Participants will leave with practical experience of key techniques involved in mediation and negotiation.

Supporting Trauma

Almost all of us will experience a traumatic incident at some point in our lives. The impact of trauma can be pervasive and long-term. This workshop will help participants to frame any incidents of trauma into perspective and gain an understanding of the tools that can help with some of the symptoms. The talk also highlights what support you might need to help with the roots of the issue.

Healthy Relationships

This workshop gives participants an overview of what constitutes a healthy relationship and how they might work towards improving those connections that are of meaning in their lives. Participants will leave with an understanding of key patterns of relating and simple ways to change their own relationships and ways of relating for the better.

Tackling Addictions

Addictions come in many shapes (drink, drugs, gambling, sex, shopping, internet to name few). Addictions are often intended to help sooth a negative feeling but end up being harmful to us, either on a physical level or because they impede us (or others) from living daily life well. This workshop will help participants to identify their own addictive tendencies and explore healthier alternatives to try and develop as new habits.

Cognitive Therapy (CBT)

Used widely in the NHS for a range of psychological difficulties, CBT has helped bring psychological relief for many people. This talk presents the main tools used by experienced practitioners working at Harley Therapy and gives participants access to these exercises to try for themselves at home.

We outline the main reactionary stage that individuals typically go through when responding to a loss or change. You will leave with an understanding of healthy responses to loss and knowledge of how unhelpful coping strategies can be turned into more helpful ones. With live demonstrations of key techniques, participants can gain the tools to recognise the techniques that work for their own unique experiences of loss.

Life is full of challenges and events that trigger difficult emotions and reactionary behaviour. Why do some people stand up better to such difficulties? We demonstrate with practical examples how you can develop resourcefulness and endurance in the face of adversity. Smartphones are an integral part of modern life, but our usage can quickly get out of hand. Learn about what constitutes addiction to technology and how to spot the signs. This workshop helps you evaluate how your phone can best serve you and helps you establish a healthy relationship it with based on your emotional wellbeing needs.
