The Crescent Primary SchoolPassport

At The Crescent we believe that the curriculum is not just about National Curriculum Objectives. We aim to provide the children with opportunities to learn skills beyond this. We have created a passport that can be stamped as the children achieve certain challenges. This will then become a record of their life at The Crescent and will hold many memories we’re sure.

The Passport challenges:• Learn to play a musical instrument • Join a club • Represent my school• Experience a leader position• Go on a residential trip• Contribute to the local

community • Work on an enterprise project• Carry out simple first aid• Make a link with another country• Take away a special memory

Building Learning Power

The Questioner The Reflector Collaboration Kid Captain Resilience

‘Term on term, year on year, a BLP school breeds young people who are more curious, more willing to take a risk and give it a go, more imaginative, more creative, more thoughtful, more ready, willing and able to learn with and through others. It’s developing this adventurous spirit that counts’.

Professor Guy Claxton, originator of BLP
