Natural Salicylic Acid

Natural Salicylic AcidNatural salicylic acid is derived from willow bark as compared to the common acne ingredient, benzoyl peroxide or synthetically manufactured salicylic acid. It is a very gentle beta hydroxy acid that is ‘oil soluble’ (unlike benzoyl peroxide), so it can dissolve into the sebum and break apart groups of dead skin cells that are clogging pores, for easier removal. It helps to open the pores (unlike benzoyl peroxide) so that bacteria deep within the oil gland can be killed.

Wow! That's easy!

If I were stranded on a desert island and could only have one Chaé product, it would have to be a big bottle of Argan Gold Moisturizer. Argan Gold is the product that cured the problems I had with my eyelids, but it also serves as an overall moisturizer. Since I am a redhead…

I would be sitting under the palm trees with a Radiance glow, without the discomfort of the sun, and the burn, peel, burn, peel cycle! I would still want to look tanned, so wearing Radiance would be perfect for adding a bit of color. Without a doubt…

Just not fair -- only one?

Well, I'd choose O2xyBrite Tooth Polish. Even if I didn't have a toothbrush. It makes for a really clean mouth all day long and that makes me happy!!! A healthy mouth is a healthy body. That's my answer and I'm sticking with it, but I love so many of the products. Bernice R.

Favorites!!

I love Foaming Cleanser. It feels so good, smells wonderful, & takes off all the day's effects gently & safely, without ever drying my skin. Guess I could find a coconut on the island to moisturize but I'd have to have this long lasting cleanser. Libbie H.

This is actually pretty easy. If I were stranded on a desert island, the ONE Chae product I would want is... SANITIZER! Not only am I going to stay clean and germ free, I can spritz it on my face for refreshment, quench my thirsty curls, and I could get away with drinking a little if I had to! :) I never leave home without Sanitizer!!Sara N.


I would need…

I cannot live without the Sanitizer. I have used it as a mouth wash and a vegetable wash. If there is no soap in a public restroom, I use it. I was stung by a bee on my finger & the sanitizer took the pain and burning away. Susan R.

If I have to pick just one…

I'm going to have to pick the “Vanilla Cream - Body Lotion"...see, I'm addicted to it! With being a child care provider, I wash my hand every other minute and with Chaé Organics Lotion my hands NEVER feel cracked or dry...just soft and smell so good! My choice…

For a Chaé desert island companion would HAVE to be Wild Ginger Hand Wash! First of all, it has my favorite fragrance of all the Chaé products…. But more importantly, when I have exhausted my supply of other Chaé products (silly me, not ordering often enough!), I have been able to use this ONE hand wash for almost ALL my other cleaning needs! Not only does it do a great job, but I'm smiling as I clean - now, how great is THAT? Maria McK.


If I was on a deserted island…

If I could only have one Chaé Organics item, it would have to be the Wild Thing Shower Gel. I can use it to wash my hands and body as well as shampoo my hair. It is gentle and washes away any toxins and impurities and leaves my skin clean and moisturized and has that uplifting and relaxing scent. Questions & AnswersQ: Can you talk about the shelf life for the products? Gail S. A: Yes! Products with Oxygen in them have an 12 to 18 month shelf life – (Sanitizer, OxyPlus Mist, OxyTX Toner, Baby Shampoo, Thera-P Foam, Pet Shampoo, Purifying Foam and Spray). All other products have a 24 month shelf life.

Q: Is organic also hypo-allergenic? Lenora P.

A: Our products are as hypoallergenic as any other hypoallergenic advertised products on the market. Some people have reactions to organic ingredients like lavender or orange, but you’ll never have a reaction to our products due to chemical exposure!


Questions & AnswersQ: Do Chae products contain parabens? Arlissa R.

A: NO! NEVER!

Q: I've used the body lotion, but it's quickly absorbed and my skin is dry again. Which of the body creams are best for dry skin? Idella J.

A: Sounds like your skin is having trouble with moisture uptake. The best thing to do is make sure you are exfoliating your body 2-4 times a month so your have freshly exposed cells when applying moisture. We recommend using Vitality Serum (free item this month!), Intense Moisture Masque, and one of our four Body Butter scents – they all carry a 24 hour moisture guarantee.


Questions & AnswersQ: What can you recommend for sensitive skin for daily facial wash? Terry D.

A: Both the Clarifying Cleanser and Nutra Cleanser are non-drying cream cleansers. Use Clarifying for oily skin types, and Nutra for dry skin. The Foaming cleanser is for all skin types and is also extremely gentle for sensitive skin.

Q: Can you use the Argan Gold under or over the acne mosturizer? Can you use the acne products when pregnant or nursing? Tamiko K.

A: We recommend using the AcneTX Repair first, and follow it with the Argan Gold Moisturizer. Yes, you can use the acne products while pregnant or nursing. The salicylic acid is all natural – completely non-synthetic.
