• We don’t need them at school. They are a distraction and can get “misplaced.”

ABSOLUTE READING SKILLS

SPELLING HOMEWORK

• Practice the words and send it in for a homework sticker.

• Keep the practice list and practice these words all week for a 100% A+ score on the test.

READING HOMEWORK

• You will get little books once or twice a week for homework. They will be 4-16 (!) pages. There will be a homework page stapled on back to return for a homework sticker.

• Sometimes you will get math homework. Return to school for a homework sticker.

• Sometimes it can be hard to figure out the homework. Do what you can, but if you get stuck, just sign the homework and let us know what was confusing.

• Make sure we have the best number to get hold of you. If your child won the lottery or fell off the bars, what would be the fastest way to contact you? Make sure your teacher and the office know this information.
