INTRODUCTIONWELCOME

Thank you for choosing ROVR® as your driving safety system.

Introduction Page 2-3

Driving is one of the most dangerous parts of almost any job. The National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety has shown that implementing an in-vehicle monitoring system combined with a driving safety program can have a significant reduction in injuries involving motor vehicles.

Our approach with ROVR® is to focus on the leading indicators of risk and positively engage drivers with effective feedback – the key to changing any human behavior.

1. DRIVER SAFETYSCORECARDEach week you receive a Driver Safety Scorecard that scores you on the previous week’s driving behavior. We focus on three key metrics that are the most signifi cant for a driver: speeding, hard braking and rapid acceleration. You will receive a letter grade for each metric.

2. NOTIFICATIONSNot sure if that was a hard braking event? Set up a notifi cation in worldVIEW™ to notify you when you have a hard braking event. Notifi cations of various event types can be sent to your event stream in the worldVIEW Dashboard, to your email, and even to your phone as a message.

3. TRIP REPORTSHow was my driving? With worldVIEW and your ROVR device, it is now possible to receive instant feedback about your trip. Once you reach your destination, you will receive a Trip Report in your email giving you a brief overview of your trip including all speeding, rapid acceleration and hard braking events.

4. TRIP DETAILSAll of your trips and events report to worldVIEW making it your one-stop destination to view your entire driving history. Want to know where that speeding event occurred? Click on the Details Tab and locate the event. Need help? Check out our Reference Guide.

STEP 2: CONNECT RED WIRE TO A FUSE WITH CONTINUOUS POWER 1. Use the multimeter to locate a fuse in the fuse panel that

has voltage present at all times regardless of the position of the ignition switch (Figure 1.1).

2. Remove the fuse.3. Attach the red power wire using a fuse tap and a wire

connector of the appropriate size, depending on the fuse (see Figure 1.2).*

4. Place the original fuse back into the panel where it was removed.

*If you have micro fuses, replace the fuse with a small fuse included in the supply kit. Small fuses fit in the same micro fuse slot.
