Report card

• 4 is exceeding expectations , 3 is meeting expectations, 2 is developing, and 1 is needs improvement

• Throughout the quarter, no letter grades will be given. Focus will be on the development of the child. A letter grade will be given on the report card, the same as last year.

• Tests will show up on the parent portal as part 1 and 2 because they are worth twice of a regular assignment.

• Tests will not be sent home until all 4th grade sections have completed

A Year Of Independence

• In 4th grade, we encourage the students to put their homework in their bags themselves, ask you to sign their planner, and say good bye at the front door after the 1st week of school unless you need to carry in large items.

Please hold your child accountable by not “rescuing”

by regularly bringing in forgotten items such as

homework, recorders, and planners. It takes time out of your schedule and your child will still pull a ticket anyway.

Together we can prepare them for 4th grade and work

towards 5th grade!
