Think about times that you’ve been given advice?
1. What’s happened when it’s well received? 2. What’s happening when it’s not well received? 3. Talk to the person next to you to discuss (5 mins) 4. We’ll then have the chance to feedback as a group

Ques1ons
Q: Is the final elicit about a:tude or understanding or both?A: I would say both! Finding out where your client is with either a:tude of understanding of your advice/informa1on will be helpful to you both.
Q: What if someone says ‘no’ they don’t want your advice/informa1on?A: Comment on it, reflect, empathise, “that’s not something you want to talk about”, or “talking about this is difficult”, or “you’d rather talk about something else, what is that?”
