Dear Parishioners,

Plans are continuing by a joint committee for our com-bined Parish picnic on Sunday, September 1, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. at Brady’s Run Park. Please set aside time that day to come together.

Hopefully, summer provides everyone with a little extra time for rest and relaxation. With equal hope, may the rest and relaxation lead us to quiet, lovely moments with God. Porch, park, beach, backyard can all provide moments to experience the beauty of God’s creation and the love of God around us - Everywhere!

More discussions are taking place covering areas of ministry we can already serve together.

The salaried Music Ministers are meeting with Fr. Paul. Fr. Mark is leading discussions in a joint RCIA ef-fort and a Spiritual Life Planning Committee for all parishes.

Steps are underway for an eventual united Religious Edu-cation Program. The departure of Chris Patsch from St. Cecilia’s will be filled by Jamie Connelly, the Religious Ed Coordinator for Saints Peter and Paul and the addition of Rose Flajnik, from St. Cecilia, who will work with Jamie as a Program Manager. They, with Sue Bauer (Holy Family) and Danielle Tokin (St. Felix) are sharing their skills and experi-ence for all four programs. The possibilities are very exciting, actually.

The Catholicism Series will continue Tuesday eve-nings in July at St. Cecilia’s after Mass at 7:30 p.m.

Friends, when parking for Mass, especially near Saints Peter and Paul, please be careful to not block driveways and ignore yellow curbs. The residents have every right to com-plain to the police. God Bless, Fr. Bob
