1. INTRODUCTION Welcome to Hideout Festival 2019. We’ve put together this pack with all the details you will need to have a fun and safe festival. If you’re looking for information about travel across the Island, where to go for boat parties, or what currency to bring to Hideout, all the info should be here. We will have an info point at Zrce Beach so if you have any questions at all, please just ask a member of staff.

2. OPENING TIMES FOR PICKING UP YOUR WRISTBAND

FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS Please bring your ticket and also the card you purchased the ticket with (if you’ve lost / got a new card then bring your new one along) and photo Id.

3. FESTIVAL SHUTTLE

Travel across the Island with our social Hideout Festival shuttle buses!

The shuttles depart from all nearby towns and villages taking people to and from the festival site, 24 hours a day. It’s safe, secure and efficient.

4. AIRPORT TRANSFERS

You can buy an airport transfer from as little as £22 each way, our airport transfers depart from all airports in the region, not just to Croatia but Slovenia and Italy too, providing the easiest way to get to the festival!

Airport transfers are available to connect with almost all flights arriving from the UK on the following dates:

Arrivals: June 27th, June 28th, June 29th, June 30th, July 1st, July 2ndDepartures: July 6th, July 7th, July 8th

5. ACCOMMODATION APARTMENTS / ROOMS INFORMATION If you’re booked through Hideout Festival, check in is ever so simple. Head to the check in point by Novalja bus station (next to the airport transfer drop off point – see map) and bring the following things with you:

1. Accommodation e-ticket (lead customer will have received it via email 7 days before arrival).

2. Passport photocopies of all guests staying in you Accommodation (Important!)

3. £20 or 200kn security deposit for each guest (returnable at check out) You’ll then be transported to your accommodation and checked in!

IMPORTANT: Check in time is from 1:00pm – 9:00pm on the 29th and 30th June and from 10:00am – 6:00pm on the 1st July / Check out is at 10:00am.

Please note there will be no check in after 9:00pm unless previously arranged! If you are arriving outside of these check in times please [email protected]

IF YOU’VE BOOKED PRIVATELY OR THROUGH ANY OTHER METHODWe’d recommend confirming the exact check in method with the apartment owner before arriving in Croatia. ensure you have the following information:

6. BOAT PARTIES

Tickets are scanned at Novalja harbour, not Zrce Beach. You can view the location on the map (P8).

WHEN TO ARRIVE FOR BOAT PARTIES • Please note that these times are set so that you can board the boat safely in

time for departure.• You are not able to bring any liquids onto the boat and you will be searched

for alcohol before boarding.• No jumping into the sea from the boat / pier. You will have your wristband

taken off you and you will not be allowed in to the festival.

guarantee entry.4. It is a party in a pool, and there’s a chance you might get wet, so please

dress accordingly and look after your valuables.5. Be careful with drinking in the sun for long periods of time and please drink

8. THE HIDEOUT BEACH PARTY

10. USEFUL LINKS

WHERE CAN I GET A COPY OF THE SET TIMES FOR THE FESTIVAL? These will be available in our programme, which you can buy from the merchandise stand on Zrce Beach or at the wristband exchange when you arrive. We have also launched a Hideout app which is available for android and iOS with all the set times and useful info available.

WHAT IF I FEEL ILL / NEED MEDICAL ATTENTION? There is a first aid tent on Zrce Beach (see map) There is also a medical center next to Novalja bus station, so head here if you need any help. WHAT IF I LOOSE A WRISTBAND? We are unable to replace any wristbands so please look after yours!

I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOMMODATION WHO DO I TALK TOO? If there is anything wrong at all, then contact your accommodation provider as soon as you are aware of any problems.

I NEED MORE INFORMATION There is an info point available on Zrce Beach, so if you head there our staff will be able to assist you with any queries.

HOW DO I GET TO THE AIRPORT FOR MY FLIGHT HOME? If you’ve not booked anything yet, then visit our transfer team at the bus station.

CAN I GET CASH OUT AT THE FESTIVAL? WHAT ABOUT PAYING ON CARD? There are cash machines located in Novalja and on the festival site. It is also possible to pay on card at some of the venues, the best thing to do is just ask!

I’VE LOST MY PHONE / WALLET / PASSPORT, WHAT DO I DO? If you’ve lost something valuable such as a phone then be sure to report it to the local police, as this might be a requirement for your insurance. If you have lost your bankcards make sure you cancel them, or speak to a member of staff on the info points as we have lost property handed in all the time.

I’VE LOST MY FRIENDS? One tip would be to decide on a meeting place should any of you lose each other throughout the day/night, and then head there. Or else, speak to a member of staff and we will be happy to help. If you have any other questions while you’re at Hideout then please come see us at our information point on Zrce Beach and we’ll happily help!
