Oakridge Neighborhood Ministry, Sign up TODAY on the tear-off

interested in knowing more about our outreach ministry to the

Men’s Basic Car Maintenance Workshop, (July 11 & 18), Men,
come learn from
Kevin Deeds (Auto Mechanic) how to perform basic car maintenance
(change oil,
check brakes, change a tire, check all fluids, etc.). You’ll
watch Kevin the first week-
-then bring your own car the following week and change your own
oil (with assis-
tance if you need it)! Meet in the north parking lot from 6:30
to 8pm both nights.
Mission Luncheon, (Sun., July 8, 12:30pm, Fellowship Hall) Come
hear from our
youth group who did a Boundary Waters experience and then came
back and served
in our ―Mission Iowa‖ outreach here in Des Moines. We will also
hear from Melissa
Bebo who has served this last year teaching English in Asia.
Free Oil Change for Single Women (Wed., July
18, 6:30-8pm), Single women of all ages, the
men in our congregation would like to bless
you by changing your oil, completely free
(filter included)! Just drop off your car in the
north parking lot at 6:30pm, go enjoy one of
our Wed night classes, and your car will be
finished when the class is over at 8pm. Ad-
vance Sign up is necessary--Sign up on the
bulletin tear-off form or on the church web-
site by Wed, July 11.
