He went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree, and currently works as a journalist and radio show host. FIERRO conducts interviews on his daily ra-dio show; he is satisfied with his career, but has an inquisitive

mind and is always exploring new things and ideas. He has an extensive work history, and has worked as a news writer, radio host, reporter, filmmaker, video producer, a tv station informa-tion manager and as a rideshare operator. Describe your strong sides: I believe that the strong side of my personality is my desire to succeed and my ability to adapt as a professional.

Describe your weak sides: My biggest weakness is being arrogant sometimes.

What is your marital status?Married.

Do you have any children? My older daughter is 10 years old, she is 4’ 10” tall and her weight is 70 lbs. She has light brown hair and green eyes. She’s very smart and very interested in arts, languages and math. She already is speaking and writing two languages (Spanish and English), and is looking forward to learning a third one. My baby girl is four years old, 2’ tall and weighs 38 lbs. She’s a great talker and is also very interested in the arts (she can sing very well). They’re both very healthy kids.

Which types of sport do you play or have played? Soccer, basketball.

Which other types of sports are you interested in? I love sports, and I’m passionate about team sports.

List any other hobbies you may have or have had:I walk every day at least three miles, and I sing with my guitar.

Describe the best holiday you have had: I had a great honeymoon in Spain. My wife and I traveled to the Canary Islands.

What do you like the most about your own country:My country has the most beautiful natural landmarks of South America. I used to enjoy road trips to places like La Gran Sa-bana, or Mochima National Park.


Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? Simon Bolivar, who was the liberator of five countries in South America; Romulo Betancourt, leader of the first generation of college students who fought against a dictatorship in 1928; Omar Vizquel, the greatest Venezuelan shortstop of all times in Major League Baseball; Dave Grohl, because he is a ge-nius as an artist; and all the Venezuelans students killed fight-ing against the dictatorship in the last five years.

What are your goals in life? Right now, my goal is to have enough time to see my daugh-ters to accomplish their own goals.

What were your childhood dreams:I always dreamed about becoming a journalist, and I did it.

Which values do you rank the highest?Freedom of speech.

Which childhood experience made the biggest impres-sion on you? I think it was when I was four or five years old and I saw a lion in a circus.

Which was your greatest experience or moment? When I became a father.

Happiest: The day I got married.

Funniest: In the middle of an interview on my radio show with an important personality, I totally forgot his name for 10 min-utes. And I started calling him just “sir”.

Scariest: The day I had to leave my country.

Proudest: My college graduation.

Most dangerous: In the middle of a protest in Venezuela, I was taking pictures of the whole situation and a military officer shot me on my legs with pepper bullets.

Greatest sorrow: Losing someone I loved.
