Before you go....

For our activities, staff or your butler will be happy to arrange any activity for you, whether you decide to be adventurous or be a little more indulgent with a glass of champagne on a sunset cruise around the local islands and bays. For most activities, all you will need to bring is some sunscreen, a hat, your camera and a sense of adventure, and we will take care of the rest. Our excursions include:

For afternoon or evening excursions, we should be ready for your departure with just a few hours’ notice. Please note that a cancellation charge of 50% of your booked activity will apply for any cancellation after 8:00pm the day prior to the booked trip. If the weather or conditions are deemed to be unsuitable for your excursion, management may cancel the activity.


Complimentary Daily Shuttle Service to Nha Trang

Each day our resort provides a complimentary daily service to Nha Trang. (Please note that this service is for in house guest use). To ensure you make the most of your day in town please inform to your butler the night before so that they can prepare a list of places for you to visit based on your preferences. The boat will depart from the Jetty at 8:30am and you will arrive to Nha Trang Center at approximately 9:15am. Your butler will provide you with a map of Nha Trang along with a mobile phone so you may contact your butler or resort at any time. Your pick up back to the resort will be at 2:30pm from the Nha Trang Center.

Discovery Real Vietnam Experience the Authentic Vietnamese Culture This is a tailor-made excursion that offers you a fascinating insight into the “real

lives” of everyday people who are the backbone of Vietnam, one of the best

ways to experience the “True” Vietnamese countryside.

Our car will drive you through the countryside where the village paths lead to

discover the traditional wooden house architecture and the scene of local

people living by the riverside among bamboo trees, one of the most useful and

sustainable local material.

The first stop of your tour is a workshop for one of the most typical food from rice steamed and processed into round piece

dried in the sun on the bamboo brackets that are on sale in markets, restaurants or shops that is call “rice cracker” or “rice

paper”. You are also invited to experience how to do it by yourself as well as tasting this very good local specialty.

For the next highlight stop our guide will take you to visit a “rice noodle” workshop, then further learn how to make incense

stick used in the temples and also the craft of the iconic Vietnamese conical hat among some local villager home

business. Then you will have a chance to sample delicious Vietnamese dishes selected for your lunch in a charming local

restaurant.

After your lunch time, our guide will take you to visit the traditional “sleeping matt” making workshop. Before returning to

the resort, you will board a boat on the Cai River to enjoy a refreshing sightseeing tour to relax and view the lifestyle along

Vietnam river banks.

you will head into town to see Nha Trang at its best. Early in the morning is the coolest time of the day and that is when the city is alive and the markets are in full swing. Upon arrival in Nha Trang your first market experience will be at the Xom Moi market known as Nha Trang’s central market where you will find all the local restaurants purchasing their days supplies. Here you will experience your first Vietnamese street coffee. You will then transfer onto a cyclo so you can travel local style and truly feel the morning buzz through the city streets to start your street food experience. Local Banh Can followed by Vietnamese national dish Pho. This is by no means a glamorous restaurant, but its pho is so good it has been lauded as the best pho by the New York Times. After your traditional Vietnamese breakfast, you will visit the Dam market. Here you will explore the local side of the markets that is not frequented by tourist where you will see some of the most unusual items found in Vietnam. This is where you will really get amongst the locals and witness the some truly amazing Vietnamese customs.


Yang Bay Waterfall

Yang Bay waterfall whose name means waterfall of heaven in the language of the regional Raglai ethnic minority is derived from the Cau River, forming the Yang Bay waterfall and two other small operators and Khang Yang Ho Cho. The Yang Bay Waterfall 2,000 meters in length and 80 meters height difference, creating many natural

lakes, large and small. These waterfalls are spectacular and a great spot for swimming, you can even get right up to the falls for an all-natural shower.

On this tour you will visit an ancient tree called Forest God, see the traditional pig racing, chicken fighting, bear and crocodile fishing. Before heading to lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant, the Raglai ethnic minority will host a traditional musical performance with instruments such as Dintuk (flute of friend), Takung (flute of love), Talepiloi (flute of power), Angrung driving birds away from rice fields), Krongput (played by clapping hands), Dan da (praying god for good weather). Monkey Island This is a great way to get up close and see wild monkeys especially the King of the monkeys with his many wives. If you

have food in your hand they will approach you immediately but please be careful with your jewelry as they are attracted to

shining objects.

Also avoid teasing them with their food as they don’t like this and may react in an unfriendly manner.

The monkey show starts at 10am where you can see them answer mathematical questions and perform acts.

Marine Park

This is a full day excursion exploring the local bays and islands at your leisure. You will past by the various islands

around Nha Trang, including the caves inhabited by the swallows, famous for the harvesting of their nests for Bird Nest

Soup. You can also go snorkeling at Hon Mun Marine Park to see the best coral reefs and fish life Nha Trang has to offer.

Your lunch will be set up at a charming local restaurant where you have some Vietnamese food as well as having time for

relax or swimming.

The L’Alyana Special Experience

Going with us on a unique experience of L’Alyana by becoming a local villager to learn how to plant vegetable in our

organic garden then join the basket boat fishing activity to catch the fish as a real fisherman.

Your active day will start after your breakfast around 9:00 am, you will go and gather with our gardener to take the soil by

the wheelbarrow then make the beds for vegetable plant. The seeds will be planted after you finished those beds as well

as watering and fertilizing.

Take a short time break with some tea, coffee and fruits then our guide will explain for you the daily life of local fisherman

as well as show you how to paddling the traditional basket boat and do netting to catch the fish on the sea.

With all of your catch, our chef will cook that as well as some vegetable from our organic garden for your meal.

Hiking Trail Adventures

After a few days of pure indulgence at L’Alyana Ninh Van Bay why not challenge yourself to one of our 2 complimentary hikes led by our experienced guides or for the more fit and the adventurous The Ultimate Ninh Van Bay Trail each offering different views of the stunning Ninh Van Bay.

We insist that you are led by our guides on each trail as you are entering a really untouched and alive Jungle. Our guides

know the trail very well and also carry water along with a first aid kit. In case you wish to use our boat to come back to resort, a service pick up fee will be added.

The Jungle Rock Trail This hike through the Forrest will take 1.5 hours starting at 8:30am. The record is 1 hour. On this hike you will need supportive shoes as you will climb past 2 waterfalls and then do a small abseil down some large rocks. Be prepared to sweat and keep up with the guides if you are up for the challenge.

The Mountain Trail This adventure hike through the Forrest will take ca. 30 minutes starting at 08:30 am starting from the center of the Resort. It is recommended that you wear supportive shoes (no Flip Flop’s) as you will climb past to a big rock where you can see the whole view of L’Alyana Resort.
