My dear Parishioners,
I have great news to share with you today! I am please to
inform you that Archbishop Gregory has accepted Merlin
Todd into the Aspirancy Year for the Permanent Diaconate.
Merlin will enter the formation program in January of 2018.
I know you join me in congratulating Merlin - and Bernes-
tine— and pledging them our prayerful support during the
important time of discernment that lies ahead. What a won-
derful Christmas Gift to St. Paul of the Cross Parish! May
this encourage other men of the parish to consider the diaco-
nate vocation as their own calling from the Lord.
A word about the 2017 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal: This
particular year we have come as a parish closer to meeting
the goal than ever before. I commend all who have been
faithfully, and not without sacrifice, meeting or steadily pay-
ing on their personal Pledge to the Archbishop. Time is
quickly growing short; I encourage all parishioners who
have unfulfilled pledgesn to make the most of the remaining
time to complete their pledges.
May this lovely season of Advent be a time
of joyful anticipation of the coming of the
Lord of our Life at Christmas and at End
Time!
Fr. Jerome, C.P.

bienvenidos.
