Received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Colorado, in 1983, 1985, and 1991, respectively. He was with the Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, from 1993 to 2004, and Curtin Uni- versity, Perth, Australia, from 2004 to 2018. He has published over 300 journal and conference articles. She was previously an advisor at UVU with the Trio department. Worked with disadvantaged high school students to prepare them for college. She’s a mother to four amazing kids; two girls and two boys. She loves to travel. She also enjoys playing the piano, reading and crafts. She has been a Utah Valley University employee for 11 years. Before joining E&T she worked as a One-Stop advisor as well as working for the Admissions Office and also Registration and Records in their processing center. Arrives from Gallaudet Univer- sity, the world’s only university designed to be barrier-free for deaf students. He received his Ph.D. in Information Technology from George Mason University in 2017. His research interests are computer privacy, computer security, computer forensics, and cybersecurity. He promotes collaborative research among faculty members within pro- grams and departments in the field of Information Technology. Working on her Master’s Degree in Academic Advising and anticipates graduating 2019. Has worked in Singapore for the last 3 1/2 years, as a training facilitator with Habitat Young Leaders Build. She also served as a co-director of women’s conferences based in Hong Kong, with the re- sponsibility of procuring, securing, and managing conference presenters. She and husband Paul are now returning home to enjoy living closer to their three adult children. Arrives from working as an Affiliate Professor at Brigham Young University in their Mechanical Engineering Department. Holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Arrives from Vincennes Univer- sity where he served as Assistant Professor for four years. Previ- ously he worked as an Engineer at Intel Corp. for 18 years, and Nuclear Research for 10 years. Arrives from Brainbridge Studio in Salt Lake City where he was a Design Consultant. Has 7 years of industry experience. Received his MFA in Design Thinking from Radford University. Received his BFA in Industrial Design from Brigham Young Univer- sity. He believes “that learning and effective practice are lifelong initiatives fueled by curiosity and a desire to grow.” Raised in Utah and California, graduated from BYU, and returned to Utah last year after 10 years in Wisconsin. Moved here to be closer to family again. Has four children and loves reading, making beaded jewelry, baking, and enjoying the mountains. Has a Bachelor’s degree in German and a Masters and PhD in Instructional Technology. Enjoys working on his restored 1964 Corvair Spyder convertible. Emeritus Professor of Comput- er Science at BYU as of three years ago, after 15 years on the faculty. Founder and Chairman of Kinpoint, Inc., a genealogy software company and makers of the popular Take a Name smartphone app. Founder and Managing Director of Ironwood Experts, a consulting firm that has helped companies like Apple, Amazon, Google, and Microsoft fight patent trolls. After getting five years of workforce experience went back to school and received her Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University. Has over five years working in higher education. Enjoys all of life’s good things like family, friends, beaches, Netflix, and pizza. Arrives from San Diego State. PhD in Electrical Engineering from the New York Universi- ty (Polytechnic Engineering Division), M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Mass, and B.S. in Electrical Engineer- ing (Electronics) from the Amir Kabir University. He has 22 granted patents and patent applications, published 2 text books and over 100 journal and conference articles. Has been advising for the Devel- opmental Math Department in UVU’s University College. He is a UVU certified academic advisor 2017 – 2019. Prior to becoming an academic advisor, he worked as a certified pharmacy tech- nician processing prior authorizations at an insurance firm. Graduated from UVU with a degree in Mathematics. He and his wife recently had a baby boy, born on July 2, 2018. Previously was an Adjunct instructor in Community Health here at UVU as well as owned a preschool for 15 years. She has been associated with UVU through ALL of its name changes as either a student or employee and am a true WOLVERINE! She loves Utah and all it’s beautiful outdoor activities that it provides especially hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking and kayaking. Has worked as a Systems Integra- tor for the past 10 years working for companies like Simplot, West- inghouse, and the Idaho National Laboratory. He enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, camping, mountain biking, snowboarding, and swimming. Has been a UVU Financial Aid Counselor for the last two years, and previously was an Educational Talent Search Advisor with TRIO. Graduated from UVU four years ago. She is married, with four children – three of which are married, and has five adorable grandchildren.
