Purpose and mission

• Exclusively residential, commercial and industrial Point of Use/Point of Entry representation– To ensure industry control of the agenda and progress

• Broad Structured Membership– To ensure dedicated focus to the common interest of the

membership– Proactive in setting and driving the agenda• Agenda to focus heavily on benefits and opportunities– To ensure increased acceptance, recognition and demand

for POU/POI technology by the consumer and regulatory/supply authorities

– Committed to raising the profile of our industry– Influential at European authoritative level

• Divided into market sector groups:– Softeners– Drinking Water Filters– Chemical Treatment– Physical Treatment– Private Water Supplies

Operation• Each sector to establish and run its own

agenda

• Each sector managed by a member of the EWTA Board of Directors

• EWTA Board of Directors oversee sector activities to ensure harmony and cooperation on issues of mutual interest

• The objective is to ensure each market sector can benefit equally from the influence and resources of the EWTA
