Law #1 How people perform correlates to how situations are perceive to them.

Critical Action: Change the perception by changing the language.

The Three Laws of Performance!

Law #2 How a situation is perceived (occurs) arises in language.

Critical Actions: Begin changing the language & clearing out what is unsaid. (Mokitas)

We think… old language.

We try …..old language.

The Three Laws of Performance!

Lack of Collaboration, Communication, and

Teamwork

Using Collaboration & Teaming we can solve any challenge.

FOCUS: Communication and Teaming has to be a priority for us to reach the next level!

Creates inconsistency, and a weak organization.

In our business it negatively impacts student learning. Please use shared area on

network to view PLC minutes, notes and best work.

Grade Level Goals (GLG’s)Let’s make it meaningful!

Grade Level Math, Science, Reading Vocabulary Lists

Principals…PLC’s…Students set grade level goals for state mandated tests.

We have students help us set these goals.

Every student/teacher knows what the goal is and focuses/talks about practicing for the big game!

We celebrate our hard work and practice by celebrating throughout the school year!

We work as team in getting students a foundational academic vocabulary!

I’m asking that we become a P – 12 team this year.

Teamwork is the key to reaching the next level!

Recognizing Excellence is Important!

Joshua Bell: Washington D.C. Metro Station 2007

Some say he is the best violinist on the planet!

His violin is worth $3.5 million

And very few were aware enough to recognize his brilliance.

Shared Vision / Communication Norms are very important!

Please before you leave use the sticky dots to select your favorite vision /norms statement

I challenge you to make it a reality!
