ST. THOMAS CHAPEL St. Thomas Chapel on Fal-
mouth Heights is now open-
with a Vigil Mass on Saturday
at 5:30pm and Sunday at
10:30am. Seating capacity is
limited and we ask all in at-
tendance to respect others
by social distancing both in-
side and outside the church.
The chapel will remain open
through Labor Day weekend.
ST. JOSEPH CHAPEL Unfortunately, because of the
limited seating capacity due
to the coronavirus precau-
tions, we are unable to safely
open St. Joseph for weekend
Masses. It is disappointing
because there have been a
number of renovations which
have occurred during the off
season. However, the chapel will be open on
Wednesday afternoons at 3pm for the Divine Mercy
Chaplet, followed by Adoration and ending with
Mass at 5:30pm. We hope local residents and guests
in the area will join us in prayer in this beautiful
church.

The 79th Annual Fall River Diocesan Catholic Appeal “See All the People” has begun! While de-
layed because of the pandemic, we cannot delay in our call to respond to those who are in need in
our communies. As Bishop da Cunha wrote in his le0er to all parishioners: “It is most crical to
connue the work of the Catholic Appeal” which includes supporng food pantry programs, hous-
ing for the homeless, pathways out of addicon, and spiritual support for those in hospitals. One
of the beneficiaries of this appeal is the Weekly Diocesan Catholic Mass which airs on ABC6 (Cable
22 in the Falmouth area) and where I have served as Director for over 30 years. In these past few
months, the TV Mass on broadcast television has been an important apostolate to those who have
been unable to a0end Mass and did not have the benefit of livesstream Masses because of their
inability to access the internet.
Please consider, as your means allow, supporng the efforts throughout our diocesan community.
Contribuon cards were mailed to parishioners. You may contribute directly online by going to
the website www.givefrdiocese.org/2020

ST. ANTHONY $55,360 198 donors
ST. ELIZABETH SETON $22,220 86 donors
ST. PATRICK $ 21,620 58 donors
Thank you for your generosity!

We are presently undertaking the task of taking a new cen-
sus of our parishes. All registered parishioners should have
received, by now, our new census form in the mail. If you
did not, you may pick one up at one of our parish offices, or
call and we will mail one to you. You may also do this on
line on our website. PLEASE fill out and return to one of our
parish offices or place in collecon box. Much of our present
data is incomplete and outdated, so we would appreciate
your help so that we may be:er serve you and your family
in the future. If you are seasonal members, please note that
on your form. Thanks!

We appreciate your support of our parishes, espe-
cially during this difficult *me when collec*ons
have diminished. Thanks to those who have
dropped off their envelopes and other donaons.
If you wish to place your dona*on in just one en-
velope (as opposed to mul*ple weekly envelopes,)
please feel free to do so. All three parishes can
now par*cipate in the WESHARE online donaon
program whether that be a ONETIME DONA-
TION, or a temporary weekly or monthly dona-
*on, or even perhaps using ONLINE GIVING as
your permanent means of support. Contact Dan
Cunha in our business office if you have ques*ons.
As you know, the weekly collec*on is our primary
means of support. From this, we must pay u*li*es,
insurance and most importantly, our faithful em-
ployees. As always, we thank you for anything you
can do. Fr Steve

A WORD OF THANKS
Thanks to the MANY volunteers who are assis>ng in
serving as ushers and sani>zing the churches between

have ever been able to remain open. It is no small
feat considering that there are 12 weekend Masses in
our collabora>ve. If anyone would like to volunteer to
assist these people, please contact the specific parish
office and we will get your name to the coordinators.
