Welcome to Worship.!!The congregations of First English and Trinity have consolidated as Faith Lutheran Church. Both locations (5th and Madison / Greene Road) will continue to be worship and mission centers in Goshen. This morning we will celebrate Holy Communion as part of our worship service. We believe that Christ is the host of this meal and all are welcome to come and receive. !!WE WELCOME PASTOR JESSICA KING this morning as our preacher.
UPDATE The Council met with Pastor Jessica yesterday and we are grateful she is able to join us this morning in worship. We invite the congregation to come back / stay following the 10:30a worship service at 5th and Madison for a meet and greet. Please continue to hold this call process in your prayers.

Prayers !This week let us keep in our prayers: !Made alive in Christ and filled with his Spirit, let us pray for the church, the world, and all of God's creation. !For the body of Christ, that our hearts may be drawn to you, that our minds may know you, that our wills be controlled by you, that we may be wholly yours, utterly dedicated to you. Bless our confirmands; Connor, Freddie, Nick, Kara, and Bryce as they make public their commitment to you. !For farmers planting the seeds that grow our food; for sun and rain in right proportion; for lands suffering flood or drought; for those tending the Community Garden and helping with the Smart Choice Food ministry. !For those who hold authority over others; for presidents, governors, and mayors; for generals and officers; for executives and managers; for parents and teachers, give them compassionate hearts, wisdom and courage to do the right thing. !For those suffering or in want; for victims of abuse; for those who are depressed or anxious; for those who suffer from addiction; for estranged families; for the ill or hospitalized (especially) Jean, Florence, Esther, Loretta, Sheila, Kathy, Jill, Debbie, Margaret, Burthelle, Clyde, and Delores. For those who are homebound, especially Chic, Kathy, and Carleen. For those who are in Senior Living facilities, especially Jurgen , Kreig (Craig), Betty, Mary Louise, Virginia, Ruth, John, and Tess. !For this assembly; for its leaders, council, committees, and households of the week: Bob & Christine McCoige, Al & Bonnie McDowell, Victor McKibbin, Ben, Andrea, Kendall, & Quinn Meloche (Mellaush), Lucas, Johna, Kylie, Allyson & Bryce Miller, and Ron & Marie Miller that as one in Christ we share His love with all. !We give thanks for all who lived and died in faith.
