TODAY …

We extend a very warm Welcome to

all who are worshipping with us … especially if you are visiting Napier or

at the Cathedral for the first time.

At 10.00 am - the Cathedral Parish

hosts the annual Civic Service with the other Napier Inner City Churches (St Patrick’s Catholic, St Paul’s Presby-

(Mayor Bill Dalton is unavailable and has sent his apologies along with his

greetings), plus representatives from the Napier City Council and the

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council. To-day’s combined choir is represented by

volunteers from the Napier Inner City Churches and community - thank you!

The Hawke’s Bay HB Regional Dean New Office Location

The Rev’d Dr Jenny Dawson now has an office in the Cathedral (upstairs to the right when you go through the main doors in the foyer - generally known as the “Youth” room!). Obviously she will contin-ue to be out and about in the region, but Jenny looks forward to meeting with peo-ple in her office when appropriate. If you want to see this new space, she is having an “open home” (with great coffee and cake) from 2.00 - 3.45 pm on the day of Bishop David’s farewell (Wednesday 5

th

February) so arrive a little earlier and check out her new space.

Jenny’s phone numbers and email re-main the same – 06 843 6425 or 021860150; [email protected]

EPISCOPAL ELECTORAL COLLEGE HB REGIONAL CONSULTATION

St Matthew’s Anglican Church, King Street South, Hastings

Tuesday 11th

February 2014, 7.00pm

This is an important opportunity for pa-rishioners from throughout the Region to share their thoughts as we prepare and plan for the future … what is said here will influence the discussion at the Spe-cial Diocesan Synod to be held on the 15th March, in Taupo, regarding a possi-ble regional bishop. But more importantly any decisions made will shape the Dioce-san Profile which will be sent to those nominated for the Episcopal Election pro-cess to become our new Bishop. Your attendance at the Consultation meeting is encouraged!
