PRAYER LIST
Procedures to request that a name is added to the prayer list are as follows: - Request permission from the individual in need of prayer (as requested by our Synod) - Send an email to: [email protected] or Phone: Joanne Cantwell at 610-933-0341 or Jerene Gladfelter at 610-933-3542 - List the individual’s name and BRIEF description of situation (i.e. chemo, dementia, auto accident, comfort and peace, etc.) - Name of requester and association (brother, co-worker, friend, etc.) - Please advise us when a prayer request is no longer valid A new prayer list is issued at the beginning of each month as a bulletin insert. In
addition, we have an email list of individuals desiring to be on the Prayer Chain to
receive these requests. Please update us by the 25th of each month to ensure that your
request is listed. If you have not signed up previously and wish to be on the Prayer
Chain to receive immediate prayer requests other than those listed monthly, please
contact Joanne (610-933-0341) or Jerene (610-933-3542) with your email address or
telephone number. Extra copies of the monthly bulletin prayer list insert are available on
the small table in the lobby where the Sunday bulletins are kept.

Altar Guild Needs You! Please sign up on the volunteer sheets in the lobby for the
Sundays that you are available to help.
Special Visit from Lutheran World Relief On Sunday, May 19, Theresa Haenn, Regional
Representative from Lutheran World Relief, will be joining us in our worship service and
will also be presenting at Adult Forum following the service. Save the date for this special
visit! Theresa tell us, “I will be taking your members on a world tour of Lutheran World
Relief’s work in Africa, Asia and Central America. The tour will include information about
our Quilts & Kits Ministry, farming initiatives, disaster preparedness and our partnership
with IMA World Health to provide reliable healthcare services in remote areas of the
world. I will also have a short (and tasty) activity to help everyone remember the important work we do
around the world. For information on all of our programs please visit our website at www.lwr.org.”
Flower Sponsor Payments Please give your payment for sponsored flowers to Patt
Shumaker or else leave your payment in the flower box on the small desk in the

Hospitalizations or Pastoral Needs Please notify us if you or a family member is hospitalized and/or in need of a
pastoral call or visit. We have no other way of knowing of a hospitalization or a pastoral need. You may contact the church office at 610-933-1528 or call Pastor
Jerry on his cell phone at 215-260-9755.
Care Team ministers to members of our congregation who are homebound. If you are in
need of services from the Care Team or know of a member who may need assistance,
please contact Care Team co-leaders Deanna Kalmbach (610-933-6204) and Diana
Moffett (484-524-8795).

You can purchase $25 or $50 pre-paid Giant grocery cards to benefit the youth.
