Weekly Math Magic consists of nine weeks of mathematics printables designed to introduce, practice and review essential skills. Additional Weekly Magic sets are available in nine week sets.

Weekly Math Magic covers almost every common core math standards across second grade, but depending on the needs of your students and their level of independence, these pages can easily be

used in grades 1-4.

Sets scaffold and increase in difficulty, so set one will be less complex than set four. Wording is altered slightly throughout the year so students become familiar with alternate terminology, such

The square you see is just part of an entire hundreds chart. Tip:Think about patterns you see on a hundreds chart!

4. Comparing and Ordering

5. Odd or Even

Even numbers can be split into two equal groups and

end in 0,2,4,6 or 8.

Odd numbers will always have one extra piece and

end in 1,3,5,7 or 9.

6. Geometry

Solid Shapes are also called 3D shapes. You

can hold a solid.

Plane Shapes are flat shapes drawn on paper.

Always include the decimal point and dollar

sign when writing money amounts!

15. FractionsThe number on the bottom is called the

denominator and always tells how many parts altogether. The top

number is the numerator and shows a part of that

number. Write your answer in the box like

18. EstimationWhen you estimate and answer first you have to round and then add or

subtract.
